This quilt has taken over my life (and my home). It’s not the most practical of hobbies when you have a full-time job, a two year-old and a two-bedroom flat.
Oh, and can you see an ugly, small children’s armchair in the background that’s in desperate need of being re-upholstered? That’s a future project.
Better finish this quilt first, though.

It sure does look nice! I understand. My quilts take up my bedroom floor for smaller ones, and for anything over 60″x60″, I have to annex the living room to my quilting grounds. Haha
This is my first one. I think my next one will be smaller. I should have started with a cot quilt to learn the basics, maybe, but I thought if I was going to spend months creating something, I wanted it to be something I could love forever. Can’t imagine getting to the point where I’ll be designing my own like yours. Maybe when I have a bigger place and can leave the blocks out for weeks while rearranging them.
